Hot Stone with Pumpkin Pie facial – Full body
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.
A typical session starts with the warming up body tissue with a traditional Swedish massage or a stretch therapy session. After tissue is warm, the session continues as the therapist holds heated stones to begin warming tissue down to the muscles using connecting strokes known as effleurage. A therapist may also use heated stones in specific points along your spine, in the palms of your hand, on your belly, or even between your toes, termed as placement stones. But as the stones cool, they are replaced.
