Deep tissue massage

Deep tissue requires slower connective strokes and is directed toward the deeper layers of muscle and fascia where tension is present. By using deeper pressure it has been found to increase blood flow, reduce stiffness, increase muscle function and flexibility, break up scar tissue and adhesions, and/or decrease muscle or joint pain.  As a result, an increase in the blood and lymphatic system may facilitate in the cleansing process by releasing and flushing toxins.
